This policy explains how PayD collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the PayD application and the website payd.vn. By using PayD, you agree to the contents below.
1. What data do we collect?
Account information: full name, email, phone number, address; for organizations: legal entity name, Business Registration Number, contact information.
KYC/identification (if applicable): photo of ID documents, photo of face/liveness, OCR data, matching information.
Transaction data: history of deposits/withdrawals/payments, payment methods, reference number.
Device data & logs: IP address, device type/operating system, browser, cookie/device ID, pages viewed, access time, error events.
Cookie: used for secure login, session remembering, fraud prevention, and performance analysis. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.
2. Purpose of using data
- Provide, operate, and improve PayD products/services.
- Execute transactions, send transaction notifications, and assist customers.
- Prevent fraud, ensure security, comply with the law (KYC/AML, maintain records as required).
- Analyze performance, improve experience; communicate with your consent.
3. Legal basis for data processing
We process data based on: performing contracts with you; legitimate interests (system security, fraud prevention); compliance with the law; and/or consent (when required by law).
4. Who do we share data with?
- Service providers (infrastructure partners, analytics, fraud prevention, customer support, storage) under data processing contracts.
- Authorities when there is a valid request under the law.
- Business restructuring (merger/acquisition) with the obligation to continue protecting data.
- We do not sell personal data.
5. Storage & duration
Data is stored securely on servers located at and/or managed by PayD and/or authorized service providers. The retention period is based on the purpose of use, legal requirements (e.g., accounting/AML retention), or until you request deletion when permitted by law.
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures: encryption of transmission/storage (where appropriate), firewalls, access controls, regular security assessments. No method is absolutely safe; you also need to protect your devices and login information.
7. Your rights
- Access, correct, and update data.
- Request to delete/restrict processing (when permitted by law).
- Withdraw consent for purposes based on consent.
- Complain to the authority responsible for data protection.

8. Face Data & Apple TrueDepth (if applicable on iOS)
If you use the identification/liveness feature on iOS, the application may use the TrueDepth API to capture face data for the purposes of: (i) verifying identity, (ii) preventing fraud/deepfake, (iii) matching with identity document photos as required. This data is used solely for the mentioned purposes, not for advertising, not sold, and not shared with third parties beyond the authorized processor; and is deleted immediately after the verification session is completed or as required by law/contract terms. We do not store face data longer than necessary.
9. Adolescents
The PayD service is not aimed at users under the legal age. If we become aware that data from children has been collected inappropriately, we will delete/lock it according to the procedure.
10. Cross-border data transfer
When necessary, data may be processed in a country/territory other than where the service provider has placed the system, with equivalent protective measures as per the contract.
11. Change policy
We can update this policy. The updated version will be posted on payd.vn/privacy and will specify the effective date.
